The poetry of a sticky one-on-one
The night is young and the mood experimental
There are no witnesses to testify
She’s quite keen to get to know you
Your love has grown and now it’s time to go
Under duress, under her dress
She’ll stick around only when you aim to please
Bedtime stories will linger in your mind
Between the sheets a lot is written
The sad story of the poor misguided man
Whose worth is based on acquisition
His plate is full but he’s empty, he’s empty
He’ll pour the drinks till she’s pornographic
The only way he knows how to control
A poor excuse for a true connection
Unloved, they go their separate ways
Bedtime stories will linger in your mind
A long courtship glows with innocence
The many hours that they beat around the bush
The slow climb as they take their time
Till they wine and dine and find themselves in bed (Oh no!)
