Do you ever feel that when you stare up at the stars
That you’re the only soul alive sometimes
Walked along the beach, looking out to sea, I’ve been up for days
These last few weeks I’ve been falling into my old ways
I can feel your heart beating next to mine
But I’m feeling, in your mind
You’re a thousand miles away from here

The forest hides all the light from your eyes
You know the books you write define your life
