Work Clothes

I swore I’d never fall back into this again
Jump from my car to the shower
Try to kill the stench
And now I’m too tired to cook
So I’ll eat some fast food and swear tomorrow I’ll be good
Damn my nose
Loses the smell that hangs on my clothes
And now I don’t know what’s clean
Where’s the rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, gyro grease
The time goes by
And I’m watching all my clothes turn into my work clothes
Every morning I burn my toast
Watching my eyes in the mirror
I wish this coffee would get cold enough to drink
I blow on my cup
Look up at myself and sing
«Open your eyes, put it in drive
Get on the road and just go»
I swear I’m moving away
But I don’t
Nobody talks to me here
They treat the temps like teens
Trying to hear the radio over the sound of machines
All I can here is the singer from AC/DC
And I hate AC/DC now
More than I did before
And times goes by
And I’m watching all my clothes turn into my work clothes
