The Slide

Let her decide
And peacefully slide
Crazed and alone
The walls are so high
Made out of stone
They meet at the sky
The freezing, dark cold
She’s 80 years old
Breath comes with pain
And everyone smiles
She once had a mind
It’s there in her files
She lies deep in bed
She just wants to dead
The orderlies sneer
They hate what they do
Death is so near
The stench of the zoo
The doctors should kill
She’s terminally ill
