King of Kings

I once heard the box on the wall tell me stories
A kingdom far over the sea
The king he was dead
And the children were starving
At least that’s what they said on TV
Everyday a ship from a much bigger kingdom
Would float by full of garbage or toys
Watching that ship, float by everyday
Brought down a terrible choice
Everybody likes when he dancing
Everybody likes when he sing
Everybody sing together
Behold the king of kings
They made them a boat, tying up plastic bottles
That washed up on the beach everyday
Each of them sons, took and AK-40 gun and
Set sail on Easter Sunday
They was men in a boat
They’s boys in a carrier
The kids on the beach
Sweated out their malaria
They got them a boat
Tied the crew up with rope
Commandeering the toys
Of the kingdom America
When the battleship came
Upon the pirates afloat
The red sun was starting to set
The curse of them toys
On the pirates was strong
They just figured their maker was met
We watched on the TV, an Easter Sunday
Some pirates got shot in the head
The toys they were safe
And the world rumbles on
