Coward

Just be honest for once, i tell myself
staring at the blank pages of my life, and realize
suddenly i find myself out of time, with the borderlines of my mind,
they’re asking me to try to jump off that ledge, but i don’t have the guts you
can call me a coward if you want to.
Slowly i feel myself slipping down, to the point where i feel like i’m wasting
my time monotony has crossed the line
What makes me sick, is all these things get buried at the back of my head.
Medication makes me feel like i’m never gonna quit tearing at my skin
Step back to a place where i thought i’d never be quite sure,
if where i’m at and where i’m going. is all that going change?
if i sit still for one more second i will shed my skin the way i’m supposed to
