Before I was even born
I was already in your life
You carried me in your heart
You carried me in your eyes
An infant so very small
Could lie in your lovely hand
Not knowing how big the world
Not knowing yet who I am And I felt warm again
Lullabies and whisperings
So soft in my ear

That reached to my soul
And left me floating in an ocean
Of your selfless love
Through all of the trials in my life
You were always within my reach

Whenever that child go lost
Or bled through those growing pains
I know it broke your heart
But the feather was in the wind
And I’ll always treasure those
Glorious memories of Sweet summers of freedom
And home for the holidays
And autumn in the air
And the wondrous seasons of Your selfless love

Just what we have at hand
