Our time is so precious, why to use it up in this way?

Some time ago I said myself:
«The present is the image
Riflected in a mirror
A place between a room
With closed shuterr
And the only ray
That so intensely disclose
The colour of my eye».
I thougth the future had always been less clear
While the past had been emerging again
The twilight isn’t so far and the present is all I’ve now.
