Incertitude has laid a weight on my heart
Engulfed me in a shroud of shame and dark

Propelling me to carve a path upon steps of regret

With self-destruction at an all-time high
Is a wavering will enough to get me by?
A perturbed voice sought a throne in my head
I’m not giving you in an inch; I haven’t given up yet
The air was subtle as it kissed my brittle skin
I could feel the brilliance manifesting from within
Stand Radiant
In the deception of the night
Sometimes we succumb to voices of our self-woven despair
But hope illuminates a path despite our darkest fears
