The Machine of Desolation

From the deep history of mankind
The sadness and eternal solitude
The ashes and remains
Of a world totally destroyed
A machine created by the mind
Gets activated everyday at dawn
Programmed to serve the men
Turns on in the emptiness of the world
Without any trace
Of organic life
Desolation
It works automatically
With the energy left
In the earth there is nobody
All on its place is dead
Inside of an intact home
The life just got off
The wind blows and covers
The restless machine that continues
And after a while misses
That mankind that one day loved
And after hated
Starting the desolation
The machine follows this fate
