It’s been 3 years now
since we had our last talk
You were lying in this hospital bed
You 've lost control of anything
This phantom pain was always there
Your body bound to the wheelchair
These catheter were stuck to your veins
but these machines couldn’t keep you alive
I never went to church again
since the day of your funeral
'cause of the feelings overwhelming me
