I can’t give it up
Everything has a finite scope or playing time
I know it, but it’s hard to face a void inside
I want each hour to roll in bearing colored lights
Host self-illuminated nights
Promised myself that I’d sit down
When I had no more to say
Every time I scrape the barrel
Look to a next day

Everyone is a finite set of things we see
It’s hard to get perspective when the subject’s me
