Late

I spend just a bit too much time on the internet
Staring at my PC monitor it’s 10 pm
I should get a glass straight from the tap and take my meds
I should get some rest
(Yeah I know)
Its become a habit that I’m hard done by I guess
My job has not seen impacts but my social life’s a mess
It’s not much to stress about but I’m still fucking stressed
Every day I wake up wondering what will come next
And hopefully a break
But then I check my watch and realise I’m so fucking late
I’m so fucking late

I’m way too fucking late
Another day goes by and yet I’m fucking late
Oh bossman give me a fucking break
Sit down at the desk and type away from 9−5
I get to deal with people that I’ll never see again in my life
And think about what I would do if I were to win the lottery
Live life in luxury until I check my balance in the green now red
It’s not much to stress about but I’m still fucking stressed

It’s only one week in and I’m broke already
Looks like I’m selling more cd’s to people walking on the street
This isn’t the life I want to lead I want to leave it to the pros
Around the high street with a block chain maybe one day HMV
Will stock my records on the wall and they will be sold out
And I will have a mansion where in most rooms I’ll chill out
It all would be just be great
Get called up from LA

They’re asking for a feature on some top 10 artist’s album
But only if it pays for me to buy another mansion
For every single mate
But then I check my watch and I guess I’m fucking late
