I see two cats in a backyard-fight
smallest one stuck up in a tree
the other one says
i saw her first
doesn’t even notice me
not I’m not one for choosing siden
but one of them looks more wrong than right
when i pick up the nearest stone
he sees me now and I see him gone
moving on from here
I see the wind carrying a paper bag
match-making of a different kind
in it’s aim
a picket fence
and love is written inside my mind
there was a time spent being apart
before being a part of this
and i witness their sweet embrace
folded smiles on a paper-face
