Through the forest I’m winding, my pathway I’m finding
I walk hand in hand with a certain one.
There are moments she sends me, but other times she offends me
'til I don’t know who I am when the day is done.
I feel like I’ve been here before.
I’ve passed this same tree, this same shore.
I’ve seen this same horizon calling to me.
Now my question is «Why are there always lessons?»
And what if we never learn them, do they return again?
Is there magic that keeps us moving forward
like a tide that pulls us shoreward?
And will these lessons end?
Now the trees in the forest like a thousand-voice chorus
they say to end it, and be on my way.
I want to live life, not waste it.
And now it’s so close I can taste it.
So why do I hesitate another day?
