It comes and goes

(it's not hard to tell)
You need your friends around
And a fiver as well
When you’re feeling good
I won’t be around
Unless I’m in need of a good cussing down.

Last night I went out
We met in a crowd
There’s easier things
Done in this town.
I forgot;
