You can find less these days to be proud of
Among the best and worst just alike
You can try turning the music up louder
It numbs the ears and the mind
And the heart disappears
And beneath it the fears still reside
Sure, I was lost but I didn’t know why
Just living on feelings and wandering by
Still looking for the pieces
Looking for the puzzle where Your life fits in mine
Here in the cool gray of the morning
When the darkness is just out of sight
And as the fools they take to hoarding little nuts of their might
It’s a sign of the season only You’ve got no reason to fight
