Lord, we need You
We are young
We are strong
But we still need You
A lot of us don’t know You through a specific religion
But we know You are real
As You know, we are not perfect
The only thing we do that is close to perfect is love
You made us to love
Well, we ask that You guide us back to love
Keep us in Your love and hold us there
Some of us have strayed away
Guide those of us back to You, Lord
We are ready to hear more from You
Open our eyes to Your signs and wonders
We feel Your call, Lord
You’ve always been there
Even when we were blinded by insecurities
We open our hearts to You, Lord, and release the hurt and the pain
We accept Your love back
Give our hearts again and again each day
For the rest of our lives here on Earth
