Following the path I laid
Through bottlenecks & barricades
Retraced my steps to where we started
It ain’t easy, I’m always stumbling
I can’t remember some of the faces, some of the places now
It’s never hard to ruin a good thing
And even though I know what’s best for me
Sometimes I just don’t want it, I’m always stumbling
There’s no easy way out of this but you can’t cover all the exits
I’m afraid I might be lost again
After all the pain I’m hoping back to you I’ll find my way
