Are my eyes set to deep?
Prohibiting the gleam from being seen
while I weep away the shade
Or all my eyes all inside?
just begging for a little leak of light
That’s the cost though
to know no shadow
Your gut swallows the sharpened edge
as if pre-perforated
so tell me which one wears the worst?
your sharper spade or harder earth?
