Wake Up Call

I see the image of my aching head,
Dark black mass it almost scares me to death
The very sight of it sends a shiver down my spine
I can heardly breathe… Despair fills my lungs
And there’s a tear… In my eye
Let me go
Smile fades from off my face as shadows falling on this place
All the things I helped to build come
Crashing down against my will
I’m on my way down
Well did you think that I would quit?
Turn and ruin from this sight of it
Did you think I will quit?
Darkness building on my mind still I keep it all inside
Lids are feeling heavy oh, my brain feels it may explode
I’m on my way out
I need to know if i’m alive
Cause I have seen what’s wrong inside
Yet I feel that i’m alive
Tired of feeling out of pride and living someone else’s life
