Darkness Before Home

Shapes of the light made in the rain, seeing a scene seen over again,
The colour of sky is never the same, after the day is taking a stand.
Question time unknown, slipping by like the night,
Darkness won’t hurry home, we never once got it right.
Never said a word, tiny lights in a darkened world,

It feels so strange, like one last game,
