Life Is Just a Dream

Sometimes it seems, life is just a dream.
A sequence of flashes creates the perfect scene.
The harder to try the sooner you will find,
nothing’s really happening,
and it’s easier to cope with when you don’t feel a thing.
Someone save me, I’m tired of living with my eyes half closed,
and I can’t help it oh cause nobody knows
where I am going they only know where I’ve been,
and I’ll take it on the chin.
I’ve got a friend, who spent some time on the sun.
Says he’s seen the future and what it holds for everyone. There’d be no more
rain,
no more criminals, cheap shots or pain.
Just faster cars and lighter airplanes,
oh now who could complain?
