Another Damage

She trusts her initial impulse
And finds something truly profound
She knows the road might be closed for long
But time is of no concern
My crimes were victimless
And I’ve given all that I can give

All my decisions are passive
Another day of rest
Another damage to ignore
Halfway through the colonnades we stopped
The hesitation had always been there
Wonders came and I watched them go again
Leaving me naked and cold
