Fried Potatoes

I guess I like most everything from beans to fresh tomaters
I like corned beef and cabbage too, but I just love potaters
Now maybe you like boughten cake with lots of chocolate icin'
But I just want potaters fried, now don’t that sound enticin'
Fried potaters, they’re always on my mind
Fried potaters, I eat ‘em all the time
I love ‘em in the mornin', I love ‘em late at night
I never eat fried chicken when potaters are in sight
Now take a plate of vegetables with collards and tomaters
Don’t that sound good, but better still just add some fried potaters
I got a gal I love to date ‘cause every time I date her
We always head for Joe’s cafe and eat some fried potaters
