Pirate Harvey

Harvey was a pirate cat who sailed a pirate ship.
From Avalon to Treasure Isle, he’d navigate the trip.
And perched atop his pirate mast he’d shout the whole day through,
«Ahoy I’m Pirate Harvey. Who wants to join my crew?»
Pirate Harvey sails the seven seas.
Pirate Harvery, friend to you and me.
Hoist the mizzen, for Harvey’s setting sail.
Each buccaneer will give a cheer when Harvey tells his tale.
To search for hidden treasure you need a sturdy boat,
and lots of friends to help you keep the aging barge afloat.
So Harvey’s best friend Truffles, who was kitten, too,
climbed aboard schooner, to keep it looking new.
First mate Truffles, lends a helping hand.
She helps Harvey, sail for distant land.
With a tail wind, there’s no place we can’t go.
They’ll raise the mast, and travel fast to where the wind might blow.
In Bali Hai they met another group of pirate cats.
They said ‘hello' and got to know their new friends with a chat.
Before too long the group agreed that it would be quite fun,
to join with Pirate Harvey and set out for the sun.
Pirate Harvey makes biscuits for the crew
in the galley to serve with pirate stew.
