He Shall Reign

Open wide you heavenly gates
For the coming of the King of Glory
All the angels sing their song
And declare Your mighty works before You
It’s a song of victory
Its redemption’s glorious power
Victory over sin and death
And salvation for your sons and daughters
See the Lamb who once was slain
Is alive and rules for ever after
See the scars that for all time
Are a witness to the wounds that healed us
Is this not the One who died
Risen from the tomb and lives
Seated at the Father’s side
There to reign for every generation
O You shall reign forevermore
