Thankful

The sun peaks through the window as I open up my eyes
I feel you softly breathing lying closely by my side
I hear the sound of little voices from the bedroom down the hall
I may not have a lot of things but to me I have it all
I’m so thankful for all the blessings in my life
Three little angels and a loving wife
And in all my wildest dreams I can’t imagine anything

I know I’m not deserving so it’s hard to understand
Why all these simple treasures have been laid here at my feet
