Am I Dreamin

I woke up suddenly and everything around me changed
and I’m not quite sure where I am
it used to feel like such a struggle opening my eyes
now I can I can see for miles
what did I do what did I change
why is everything so clear
Ive got all I ask for without even thinking
have I been dreaming or is it for real
because I feel like I can fly above it all
am I dreaming because everything’s surreal
and I feel like I can rise above it all
I’m sleeping in the same bed Ive been sleeping in for years
there’s nothing new inside my room
I’ve been walking in the same old shoes my soul is worn
but I feel fine I still got whats mine
what did I do I didn’t change but I’m suddenly ok
I can look in the mirror
have I been dreaming or is it for real
because I feel like I can fly above it all

and I feel like I can rise above it all
I have been waiting for it for all my life
I don’t know what to call it but I feel fine
