On My Knees

I close my eyes but I can’t sleep
I wonder why this had to be
Please tell me God, why did this happen to me?
Was it for wrongs that I’ve done?
A pledge that I didn’t keep?
Did I refuse someone in their time of need?
So I’m down on my knees
I’m just longing for Your touch
Let you Grace pour out on me
Father rain it down today
I feel the tears fall down my face
What has brought me to this place?
I cannot make it through this on my own
