It’s true that you let the dream die
While everything was still intact
And by the time I figured that out my jealousy was a heart attack
I had to deal with my problems in a whole new way
When one more drink just wasn’t the key
Before we could start a new war
We had to get the hell away
What we all need is a little Vacation
But how we gonna get it?
When we never ever take one
It rmains to be seen
If it’s simply a break hon
Or a permannt sever of our current situation
The truth lies in our disguise
Time stands still when you can’t breathe
It’s best to get it off the chest
But sometimes that makes you feel naive
When you look through the lens in a sober way
It’s not what you thought it would be
Clarity is hard to find
When you’re stuck in a fantasy
What we all need is a little vacation
But how we gonna get it?
