Lost in the Dark

a drowning land
they gave their soul away
with nothing to retrieve
condemned for all eternity
they’re seeking their relief
they left without remorse
searching for their own luck
but all that they discovered
was a hell within the earth
it was a contract with the devil
but the master can’t be fooled
when he’s got your soul

if they had a second chance
