I don’t know where we’re heading
I don’t read between the lines
But, it’s kind of refreshing
Getting away from the hustle and bustle
No need obeying ‘don't break the chain'
Or anything that motivates me
We all get addicted to
Something that takes the pain away

I seem to have lost my way
Why we’re doing what we’re doing
How we ended up working the job we’re working
We had a plan, but we’re lacking
Follow-through, we drifted along with the tides
Most of us drifted to some extent into whatever it is we’re doing
Every schedule needs some time carved away for passionate pursuits
