Rainbow Eye

It’s just a little dream I have; I keep it in my pocket
Like a marble with a rainbow eye
And every now and then I check to make sure I’ve still got it
This little dream that’s like a marble with a rainbow eye
It’s not the kind of dream you’d flash about; you’d never wear it
It’s more the kind you’d bury deep inside
I never thought I’d meet someone with whom I’d want to share it
But you’ve got something there that’s twinkling in your rainbow eye
And sometimes I feel it burning

I’ll keep my fingers on it, turning
