About your life and how to live it
You want two different things
But it’s getting hard to pivot
A Steady life But such a bore
Or take a risk for something more
What kind of life
Would you like to be livin'
You know I got my plans
But they’re getting risky
Been gone for months and months
So you’ll really start to miss me
And when I’m on the road
That’s when I need you the most
At the end of the day
I just need you to have you with me
Sometimes life gets hard
When you miss somebody
But they’re too far
And it’s sad cause no one has our back
But one thing is for sure
The more they tell us no
The more we’ll try to make it work
Our plans keep on changing
As were growing older
I try so very hard to keep
To all the things I’ve told her
And when I lose hope
That’s when I need her the most
