How am I here, hanging on a cross next to Jesus?
Condemned to die, yet dying by the Savior of the world?
I see His eyes, I see perfection hanging as I suffer
He’s my only hope and He suffers next to me
Lord remember me when You come into Your Kingdom

As we both die together, I know I don’t deserve You

I know He’s free, He’s free of sin that brought me to this moment
Yet it’s the same, this punishment that’s mine He gladly bears it
Could I be the first, the first to enter after it is finished?
I raise my voice, could He remember me?
