He Watches Over Me

He watches over me,
All the things I hope to be
He sees my deepest heart
Every part, completely
At times I doubt and wonder where this road is leading
There? s so much sorrow, so much pain it leaves me grieving
But to the Rock I cling and cry out for salvation
To sense my Father? s love and know his affirmation
Goodness and mercy have been constantly beside me
I? ve seen God? s hand of grace providing for my family
Why would I ever turn or wander from his presence?
His Love and holiness are shining in the darkness
Love and mercy always upon me
Grace and wholeness ever before me
Power and glory shining above me
What a God you are!
