The Rainy Day

In ily avail there was a roof and in thi:
roof there was. a hole ip it --out I heard the rain was coming and
it came down pouring cats and dogs — through that
hole I saw a leak and dr’ops came. down and fell right in
the floor -- I put under it a basin
but the problem I could not resolve
.. .. the rai n went fal I i ng on
OH THAT LEAK,'IT WENT ON FALLING — tc tc tc tc tc tc tc
DOWN THE BASIN IT CAME SPRINKLING — tc tc tc tc tc tc tc
AND ITS RHYTM GOT MY FEELINGS
… SO I LAUGHED AND STARTED SINGING
MANY PEOPLE FAVE NO HOME --YET THEY LAUGH AND LOVE TO LIVE-
WHEN IT RAINS THEY JUST GET WET — YET THEY HAVE SO MUCH TO GIVE-
NOW s SOME PEOPLE HAVE GOT EVERYTHING -AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR LUCK
SO, I BETTER LOVE THIS RAIN AND SING
.. .. OTHERWISE I SHALL GET STUCK.
So the. rain that in.
the hole that in my roof found way to wet
me — taught me lessons that I never thought
I could have read in any book — Frm’the rtlytm of
the water falling down and reaching to the floor '
I found out I could be. happy any time no matter what the score ': w '
