I threw my ring
Into the sea
Cos' that is all
It will ever mean
So now, it can be
Just another shiny thing
Glinting in the sea
A treasure to some
A loss to me
I don’t know how
It came to this
I never thought of an end to it

Sad to my bones
To the bottom of the ocean
If I could dive
And find that ring
