Santa’s list gets checked
the halls get decked
the bells Jingle every year
A hundred songs about the snow
and the mistletoe
A million 'bout holiday cheer
When all I want to do, is write a song or two
like all I want for Christmas is you
But I think that one’s already been used
All I want for Christmas is a couple new songs to sing
But every song about Christmas has been done
it’s already a thing
We already know the story
the angels and the glory
the presents underneath the tree
Can’t write the «Ho, Ho, Ho’s,»
or the tree lights glow
Are there any stories left for me?
No stockings on the shelves
no Santa’s merry elves
not another song about bells
Why are there so many songs about bells?
All I want for Christmas is a couple new songs to sing

Not too many words rhyme with Christmas
and the ones that do don’t make sense for instance
citric, malicious, nutritious baby
vicious and discuss and fish
