Where my hope’s been capped by words that’s trapped my heart from tapping into
Your presence
The doctor’s room; the grade I didn’t make; the relationships I lost
I’ve learnt the very essence of Your Spirit lingers
Dwells in the strangest of places
Tasting joy in the unexpected
The gutters where hope flutters in on wings of Spring blooming
You catapult me back to life, throw me full whack to action with even just a
fraction of Your joyful strength
Responding to my cry, You arrive like an avalanche from heaven
Reports that have talked me out living from the abundantly abundant life
You came and made death redundant
You take this bad news, and what appears irreparable, seemingly unredeemable
Your excitement glows while the seedling of my faith begins to grow in this
bliss
And You say «Wait til you see what I’m gonna do with this»
