Moonlight

There was a girl back in my town
But I shouldn’t bring up what I can’t put down
She was above reproach in everyway
One day I left the town I’m from
And as hard as I tried she would not come along
She left me alone in everyway
People are laughing and they’re having such fun
I wish it was happening to me
This is the moonlight
The very same moonlight so how happy can I be
Now I’m alone and I’m at large
What kind of fool puts me in charge
