A Million Goodbyes

For in my heart there’s sorrow
I’ve been feeling this pain for all so long
The pouring rains have set the tone
For my closing day to come
Thunder it lights up a burning sky
As I choose my loss of existence
There is no time to reminisce there’s only time to die
You see my world has ended
For the will to live has gone away
I saw it coming closing in
But at last my face is worn
I did not believe within a lifetime
My world would fade and die
But with little warning my heartbeat ends
And there’s no longer life
A million goodbyes said in a moments time
A final cheer to all my family & friends
A million goodbyes I leave you all forever now
For death is taking me away…

But so many things seem
To always stand in my way
Maybe everyone else too
Sees all the torment and despair
In my world or maybe it’s just me
There’s so many things
To deal with in a lifetime and too many
Of them just seem they aren’t
Worth the trouble they bring
In death there will hopefully no longer be pain
