A subtle tear slips away
He stares at paper anyway
Down the street, the power’s out
How can he find his way
Another minute, another day
A school of fish on the way
Staring at his neighbor’s lawn
The paper hasn’t changed

The paper sits on his desk
Coffee stains me, such a mess
