Suitor Type

A suitor type, it would be nice
A lack of codependency
But I can’t be anybody but me
And unfortunately
I’m always barking up the wrong tree
I’m always stuck inside my pity
I hate my ways
I hate this place
But I’m too damn selfish to try to change a thing
This diary is killing me
I wanna find the flaws in everything
I wanna know that you won’t let go
This apathy, it swallows me
I don’t find the joy in anything
I wanna know that you’re not losing hope

The suitor type, that would be nice
Live in another skin
I can’t imagine it
Nothing sounded so great before
But I’ve grown accustomed to all superstitions and things that just cloud my
way back home
