Beguiled

He approaches smiling ever slightly
Takes my hand and leads me to the floor
The room whirls by as we dance so divinely
He has no idea what’s in store
I gaze into his eyes with sweet surrender
Knowing he’ll be mine forever soon
We maneuver our way out into the garden
I love to dance beneath the silvery moon
The knife I have hidden in my garter
Doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all
