Waiting (Something Good)

Questioning myself
Lost at what I’ve felt
What do I do?
Convinced of what’s to come
But reality has done
Its fair share too
Some days I stand at ten feet only to be brought back
To writing stories hoping somebody listens
To the words and melodies I’ve written day after day
Although the future isn’t clear to me
I’ll grasp the thought to make reality
I am waiting, waiting on something good, something good to come around, yea

Maybe one day
These dreams all on my brain
They’ll find their way
And maybe someone else
Will see what no one else
