Will To Live

Nightmares become a reality
I’ve suffered and died
Losing my own will to live
Stripped of all my pride
Didn’t want to ever know
The many things
I could have learned no other way
Wishing to go back
To days gone by
A new hope inside me
A light at the end of pain
Wanting to go back more than anything
But with my
Heart unchanged
Waking each day to realize
That it is still true
My focus now
Faithful to the end
To one day be renewed
