In high school you looked through me
But now you’re listenin' on the mp3
In college, you never saw it
But with you, I was besotted
Tempting you, through your ear phones
Persuading you into the unknown
If we could go back then
Would you break my heart and leave me silent
I’m missing something I’ve never had
You’re the season, I’m a nomad
It’s not right
Where’s Mark and Tom and Travis with the beat?
Cuz fate fell short and now us kids can’t sleep
We need help, we can’t do it alone
Where’s Gus gone?
