Black is the color of my skin
But there is more of me to see within
Skins have played many tricks on me
Skins, yes, skins is what they see
But I am made with bones and skin like you
Doin' hopin' for the same things you do
For justice, peace and a place on earth
For life existence and what it’s worth
So stop playin' your skin tricks on me
If my skin ain’t free neither will we be

The blood that molds is always red
Life continues even when skin is dead
